Today was travel day – the big one!.
Deegs were up and off to the Pocatello Airport at 0-dark:30.
Fortunately the fires were under control and the power was back on.
Everyone was boarded early so the pilot asked (as you do) “Y’all mind if we leave now?”
So they did, and had to wait in Salt Lake City for a gate to open up.
They proceeded to the Delta Lounge and claimed a corner in the outside deck.
They had a spot of breakfast and settled in to wait.
Cheryl and I checked out of our hotel at about 10:30 and since their shuttle van was in the shop they spotted us an Uber to the airport.
If we get hit by a truck while we’re gone, our car is parked at the LaQuinta/SLC Airport. Kim knows the place, we stayed there last summer. Of course we’ve got both sets of keys with us so there’s a project.
Passing thru security we headed for the Delta Lounge where Tim met us and entered us as their guests.
Eventually it was time to wander down to the gate where we boarded…and waited.
