Now on with the adventure.

The morning was spent getting everyone ready, packed, and such. Shortly after an early lunch we bundled everyone into the car and headed for the airport. Chris dropped us off and we checked a bag, made our way thru security and settled in to wait.

After a while I got a text from United. Delay. Weather in Houston. Not to worry too much, we still had a decent layover there.

You know where this is going, right? The problem is that there’s only one flight a day from Houston to Puebla. So after the third update to the delay announcement I’m at the desk while the nice lady is rebooking us. But there’s only one flight from Houston to Puebla. And that flight on Wednesday only has two seats available. So…Rebooking complete we called Chris to come and take us back to Norman.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) Jesse will show up at school, Spencer will head back to Carol’s House, and Cheryl and I will nap, read, shuttle kids, relax. The forecast in Norman is highs in the 30’s and intermittent rain so we probably won’t do anything too exciting.

Thursday we’ll try again – Good Lord willing and the creeks don’t rise (literally).
