BEACH DAY!

I should note that our AirBnB (even though it had a Tillamook address) was located just a short walk from the ocean on Cape Meares:

Though we couldn’t see the ocean from the house we could clearly hear it.

So we began the day with a walk to the beach.

The kids ran, chased waves, played in the sand.

Papa got to try out his new kite (best father’s day present EVER!)

He even shared it with Mama and Spencer.

Following the beach we returned to the house to warm up (that was a COLD wind!)

Then off to Oceanside for lunch.

One of the best reasons to go to Oceanside is the beach.  So after lunch we spent an hour or so running, chasing waves, exploring, checking out a cave and a couple of tide pools.

Once we were sufficiently frozen we headed back to Tillamook for – you guessed it
