We Left Memphis this morning by way of the Mississippi River crossing (That’s a BIG river!)

And made our way across Arkansas and into Oklahoma.

We knew we had crossed the line when we stopped at the first Oklahoma Rest Stop:

Shortly thereafter (actually not really short, but since we were involved with the denouement of the book we’re listening to we really didn’t notice the miles flying by) we found ourselves stalled in road construction mere blocks from the Marshall-Bingham home.

We eventually worked our way thru the mess and enjoyed a relaxing evening with Chris, Kim, Jesse and Spencer.

We’ll stay here a couple of days, rest up (that’s kind of a joke with two very active grandsons) and prepare for the final push back to Boise.
