Following a leisurly morning – up at the normal time, breakfast, final prep items, going over the list one more time, Steve and Billie arrived at 10:15.
By 10:30 we were in the taxi and on our way.
Cleared security very quickly (It is Boise, after all.) and had lunch at one of the Boise Airport’s fine eating establishments. This time we chose Cross Grain Deli – an airport location of a restaurant located in the linen district downtown. This could possibly be my new favorite restaurant! My pulled pork and cheese sandwich was AMAZING!
Anyway, then we waited.
Eventually we loaded
And were off on our way to Chicago
Where we had a 4 hour layover before our flight to Dublin.
We fortified ourselves with Pizza and Hot Dogs (and Ice Cream) while we waited.
On schedule we boarded our flight, took off, were served a scrumptious dinner (a passable Butter Chicken with Rice and Tarka Dal), read a bit and drifted off to a restful slumber.
Good job commenting on the food. Your pics are showing up sideways….
Looks like you are off to a good start! Godspeed!!
Looks like a good start. As most vacations should always go… there is food to be enjoyed!
Pics are not sideways for me. Kim should stop looking at them on her laptop as it falls to the ground.
