The Marshall-Binghams arrived yesterday evening – driving from Oklahoma. Though it was quite late, Jesse still had the energy to totally humiliate Papa at the air-hockey table.

Today was spent making final trip preparations, attending to last minute details of real life, and enjoying not being cooped up in a car.

Among the baggage arriving in Boise were two boxes containing the pieces of the Lego Hogwarts Castle. Jesse (with help from his father and grandfather) spent much of the day assembling the castle.

Another high-point of the day was when we loaded all our luggage into the car – first to make sure we can all get to the airport in the morning, and second to make sure we’ll be able to fit everything into our rental van once we get to Boston. Success on both counts.

So it looks like we’re as prepared as we can be. Our flight leaves tomorrow at 12:40. The adventure begins.
