So, we’re really into the final prep. It’s been a busy couple of weeks so we haven’t been able to spend as much time as we normally would with lists, practice packing, and such. But as of yesterday noon our schedule was cleared and…
- Finalize Packing List (Randy)
- Replace the water sandals and get one more plastic shirt (Randy)
- Pack the suitcase with everything that’s been accumulating on top of the dresser (Cheryl)
- Then unpack it for…
- Spray the clothes with bug spray
- Set up the BLOG
- Run the GoPro to see how the battery is doing
- Hair appointment (Cheryl – I’ve given up on that kind of thing)
- Load the travel insurance app and remote medical app on phones
- Verify that the Google Translate Spanish language is downloaded
- Buy eSims for Costa Rica and load on phones
While loading the TI app on phones I discovered that there’s been a change in our flight schedule on Thursday. The Dallas to San Juan CR leg has been moved earlier – which didn’t give us enough time to make the connection in Dallas. So instead of leaving Boise at a civilized hour, we are now wheels up at 7:03am. Ugh. And we have almost 6 hours in Dallas. But we arrive there about 10 minutes before the Hunts so we can get the party started.
Anyway, that’s today.
Depending on when the clothes actually dry we’ll pack this evening. If not, tomorrow. If not then, well. We might be late.
For now, the GoPro battery is down to 4% after 42 minutes. I think it’s time to find that spare battery and get it charged up.
More later.
Till then…
