It was time for the monthly Ireland Bank Director’s meeting in Malad – brother David is gone on a cruise so I went along instead to share driving duties. As I was driving through Snowville on the back road into Malad I was startled to see two ZEBRAS in the farmers field! Randy knew about them but had never told me (This guy also has a camel)!
When I drove down into the valley from the Ireland pass, we saw metal creations in another farmers field that borders the back road – a crab, a daddy long legs spider, and a rhinoceros beetle – all made from car parts!
As we drove into the bank parking lot we could hear sirens coming up the street – it was the Malad High Homecoming parade – complete with the beauty queen & court (keep in mind that it is 48 degrees out), a lot of trucks with people riding them, the drill team, the Malad Search & Rescue Team (who pelted us with salt water taffy), and 3 actual floats! The bank now even has its own dragon in the lobby!
This is AWESOME!! What great pictures!
