Noon Position: N 10º 47′ 07.76″ – W 088º 20′ 29.89″

We slept in, sort of. We didn’t set an alarm but were still awake at the normal time. Eventually we got up and headed to breakfast. We were greeted by amazing watermelon carvings.

As we were leaving breakfast they were setting up for brunch.

We saved ourselves for later and went to exercise. The other morning activity was a lecture on the Migration, Ecology, and Conservation of Pacific Coast whales.

Then we went to lunch.

After lunch we had time to read and work on yesterday’s BLOG post.

4:30 was a lecture on the Artemis Generation, and missions to the Moon in preparation for a manned mission to Mars.

This was followed by the 6:00 interdenominational church service and dinner.

Along the way we missed a lecture on Citizen Spies, but we will be able to watch it on our stateroom TV later.

Bruce’s Brain Buster trivia was another disappointment with 11 out of 22. That seems to be the norm for performance. What’s the tasty Italian treat named after a pair of pants? What was the book where Haninbal Lechter first showed up, and who wrote it? The Navy special forces units are called SEAL. That’s an acronym for what? We’re gettn’ tool old for this. It even took us a while to come up with the name Brandenburg Gate.

Returning to our stateroom we were greeted by a “time change” note. So we get an extra hour tonight and tomorrow we’ll be on Mountain time.
